Inside the Corridors of Jealousy

Envy is a Green-eyed monster that resides in the inner most part of a human heart,
Having a jealous friend around you is like caressing the back of a rattle snake,
One day he shall dry siphon your blood vessels to death,
Beware of your fellow men, the enemy is within your habitat,

We all have that feeling that we must succeed before others?
So if they make it to the top of the world before us then we start hating,
We tend to forget that success comes from our sole maker,
Who has the golden key to any man’s wealth cabinet,

A jealous friend

If you’re locked in between the brackets of covetousness,
Drag yourself out of that poisonous zone of Lucifer,
You’re being used as a project by the dark forces,
Hence blocking your heaven sent felicities,

If you hear your neighbors son will be graduating from college soon,
Set the bar too high by ironing your favourite dress,
Attend the occasion wholeheartedly as you wait upon your time,
The world is a cycle, avoid the dark corridors of jealousy!

    Envy is indeed a monster and I was brought up with the same saying on an island off the west coast of Sweden. So quite an international truth you take up. May we watch ourselves and others for this ugly feeling.
