Sometimes when I’m home alone, I love standing before my wall mirror, to get to familiarise and understand myself better,
Everytime when my other self meets me, I see a reflection of a gentleman who refused to listen to the voice of defeat,
A champion who conquered the concrete walls of fear and confronted the enemy eye to eye, untill his foe veered away!
If only I could narrate the story of my life, how I was born and the things I made my parents go through; You could probably shed a river of tears!

Let me squeeze a drop of blue ink in a trough of sparkling clean spring water,
Allow me to speak a few words about the author of Little Strings of Poetry, just stay with me a little while longer,
Here is a coach that bears a comfy sponge to lean on, sit, take also a cup of milky tea and comfort your soul, it’s really chilly over here,
I was born two months before time, on the seventh month of pregnancy and toil, labour pains strangled my mother,

She brought into life a feeble child of the male gender, whose future appeared blurred like a windscreen on a rainy road trip!
Mama became sick, physically and mentally, the doctor said that she had no choice but to wait at home for two long months, until the child fully matures!
She never listened to the filthy talks of her enemies, my father being a prayerful man he stayed with her and called upon the power of he who judges righteously,

Since there was no phone’s nor internet during that time, a letter was served to my father of the great news! That now his little boy was ready to face the world,
They both went ahead to receive me from the local general hospital and there was a thanks giving ceremony in my father’s house,
Most of my mother’s “friends” came to test my kilos just to add flavour to their tongues against my parents, but still I survived..The Lord said Yes, and now here I am!
Just to remind you, this was happening in the early 90”s when Africa became a victim of pain in one of it’s own little sons, The Rwandese Genocide.
