They say betrayal comes from your closest friends, the people you treasure most in your life,
That’s is exactly what premiered in the heavens above,
They called him “the day star,” he was chief of angels, until the seed of pride grew in him,
Jealousy triggered his heart to overthrow the one who created the universe,

He successfully convinced a third of the angels and there was war in heaven,
Him and his companions were defeated by angel Gabriel with his fierce team,
The serpent was hurled out of heaven and from that day he became the father of lies,
Now the earth became his, he tainted everything that he came across!

The serpent waited upon the creation of the first humans on earth,
With an ill motive to instill sin on what the heavens saw was wonderfully made,
The dragon stealthily crawled into the beautiful garden of Eden when no one was watching,
Through the serpent which was the most cunning animal ever created, he defiled our first parents, sin came into the world!
