With his eyes wide open all night scanning through the edges of his master’s perimeter wall,
Lest he blink and lose his head to the sword of the night burglar! Have you?

The world has always been cruel to these loyal partisans, sidelining them from their fellow men in uniform,
Despite the fact that they watch over the city when everyone else is dead asleep, no one cares about their ways,
Armed with a club, a radio call and a pocket knife, the boss man believes his servant can face an armed robber, boldly,
Failure to that, the consequences are fatal and he can do nothing about it,

He keenly watches over the treasure stores of his master,
With an empty pocket he decides to remain faithful despite the mammon temptations,
When the sun sets and all other humans are rushing to hide in their houses from the wickedness of darkness,
These sons of Adam step out in their dark uniforms and heavy trench coats ,

He takes an oath to protect other people’s merchandise, in summer throughout winter,
His wife knows no warm of her bedroom at night, she’s ever alone,
When her husband returns from work, she prepares a cup of tea for him and she departs for work,
He never gets time to bond with his kids, they know him as a stranger! These are some of the struggles of a night Watchman!
