Upon gifting him a son in his last spell on earth,
God commanded Abraham to return the favour by immolating his own son Isaac,
But since he was the godfather of faith, Abraham adhered to the trying call,
Without hesitation, he prepared his donkey and led his way up the mountain of fate,
Isaac was so inquisitive as they whirled up Mount Moriah,
He desperately questioned his father of the offering since they had with them wood and fire,
So he said to his son that He (God) shall provide the burnt offering!
