Famously known as Panthera Leo, first in dominion is king of the jungle, the African Lion,
He’s the most social cat among the Pantherine family,
A lion’s deep roar can travel up to eight kilometres away,

Second in hirerachy is Loxodonto Africana, the African Elephant,
He the world’s largest herbivore to ever exist,
Entitled as the gentle giant of the African Savannah,
The bond in between the elephant clan is unbreakable,

Third in command is Panthera Pardus, the black spotted Leopard,
Termed as masters of disguise by tourists, the African leopard is deadly,
He can drag prey for a longer distance to hide it from scavengers,
Leopards are top-flight swimmers when the rains quench the dry land,

Fourth in power is Diceros bicornis, the black rhinoceros
He’s the most endangered animal among the tusk progeny,
Rhinos are rare to be seen following the scare of poaching,
Their sharp pointed horns act as weapons of protection,

Last but not least is Syncerus Caffer, the mighty African buffalo,
Buffaloes have recorded the highest number of fatalities among humans,
Are friends to Ox peckers who remove ticks embedded on their skin,
That’s why they are designated as the “Noble kings of the Pride Land!”
